If you need trees felled, overhanging branches lopped, trees shaped and pruned, tree stumps ground out, hedges reduced or trimmed, new fences erected or old fences repaired, overgrown gardens cleared or new lawns laid - you're in the right place.
Tree felling, reduction and pruning
Felling is the total removal of trees to just above ground level. Crown thinning allows more light through and reduces the load on the tree. Crown lifting, removing lower branches, gives more room under the tree. We can remove dead, damaged, diseased or overhanging branches and prune your fruit trees to boost cropping.
We can help with Tree Preservation Orders or Conservation Area applications and, once approved, complete the work to the specified standard.
Hedge pruning, trimming and reduction
We can reduce the height and trim the faces (sides) to keep your hedges neat. Some overgrown hedges can be renovated but it's usually impossible to restore neglected Leylandii hedges as they don't re-grow from old wood. So it’s best to keep them trimmed regularly.
We will remove all clippings and we guarantee to dispose of them responsibly.
We can put your hedge trimming on our schedule and contact you when it's time to get it cut.
Stump grinding
Dead tree stumps need to be removed. Left under new drives, lawns and patios they will rot causing the surface to sink. Old tree stumps can encourage diseases which may spread to healthy plants.
Our stump grinding is fast with the minimum of disruption. We can tackle any size of stump, even close to fences or walls. Restricted access is no problem; all we need is a gate or door into your garden 76cm/30inches wide.
Clearance and renovation
If your garden has become overgrown or you’ve just moved in and inherited a jungle, we can help with renovation or full garden clearance. We will take all the mess away, giving you the clean space to create the garden you want. If you need some help, we can put you in touch with a qualified and experienced garden designer who can offer advice or draw up plans for you.
Fencing
If your old fence is leaning, rotting or suffering from storm damage then it's time to think about a replacement. We offer a complete supply and fit service, in a style of your choice. If your existing fence is sound but looking a bit tired we can carry out repairs and apply a fresh coat of paint to give your garden a low cost 'facelift'.
New Lawns
Whether it's creating your first lawn for a new build house or replacing a worn out old lawn we can help. We will prepare the ground, bring in new topsoil if needed and create your new lawn from turf or seed.
Once done, we will supply you with aftercare instructions to make sure your new lawn gets off to the best start.
